Welcome to St Nick’s on Sunday 29th September 2024
Hello, St. Nick’s Kingsway!
This Sunday’s Gospel reading from Mark 9:38-50 is not for the faint of heart! Jesus speaks boldly, calling us to embrace those we might not expect to be “on our team” and challenging us to take serious action when anything in our lives leads us away from God’s path. His words call for **radical love** and **bold decisions**—a timely message for us here in Burnage and East Didsbury where our community continues to grow and change.
As we reflect on this passage, we must ask ourselves: What do we need to embrace, and what do we need to let go of to better serve God and each other? How can St. Nick’s be a beacon of Christ’s radical love in the heart of our diverse and evolving community?
Come with open hearts and minds as we dig deep into these questions this Sunday. Let’s seek a renewed vision for our church and our city.
See you then!
