It is with great pleasure that we welcome our new Lead Minister and Priest, Rev Dr K Augustine Tanner-Ihm to St Nicks.

Rev. Augustine Tanner-Ihm Nestled in the heart of the communities of East Didsbury and Burnage, St Nicholas Church stands as a beacon of faith, hope, and love. Under the devoted leadership of our Lead Minister, Revd Dr Augustine Tanner-Ihm, OMS, we are a vibrant, inclusive, and intergenerational Christian community committed to living out the bold faith of Jesus Christ.

Here at St Nicholas, our mission is deeply rooted in prayer, care for the marginalized, and a passionate commitment to cultivating a community that thrives on creativity and compassion. We believe in the power of welcoming everyone, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey or what they believe. Whether you are a believer or doubter, cisgender or transgender, gay or straight, young or old, a Manchester United fan, a Manchester City supporter, or someone who doesn’t care for football at all, you are warmly welcomed into our community.
