Welcome to St. Nicks for Trinity 8, Sunday 21st July
Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand and Heals the Sick
Happy Sunday!
Today we explore two significant events in Mark 6:30-34 and 53-56: Jesus feeding the five thousand and healing the sick. These stories remind us of God’s abundant provision and healing.
Speaking of abundance, Manchester has seen its fair share of rebuilding and growth, especially after the infamous 1996 IRA bombing. Look at us now, a vibrant, thriving city!
On this day in 1831, Belgium became independent from the Netherlands. So, let’s celebrate freedom and independence in our lives too—freedom from the things that hold us back and independence in our faith journeys.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. Remember, if you’d like to stay in touch, I’ve got a new number. Don’t hesitate to reach out!
In Christ’s love, Rev. Dr. Augustine Tanner-Ihm
