Welcome to St.Nick’s for Sunday 15th and 22nd June 2025
Dear Friends,
Trinity Sunday – A Divine Invitation
On Sunday, June 15th, we celebrate Trinity Sunday, a reminder of God’s boundless presence in our lives.
Have you ever tried to secure tickets for a major event, like the Wimbledon tennis championships, only to find yourself in a ballot with no guarantee of success? Or waited in an online queue for concert tickets, uncertain if you’d even get a seat? These experiences can be frustrating, filled with anticipation yet lacking certainty.
Access to God is nothing like this. There are no barriers, no waiting lists, and no uncertain outcomes. The Holy Spirit calls to us freely, standing at life’s crossroads, beckoning all of God’s people. This voice has been present from the beginning of creation and continues to guide and invite us today.
God delights in humanity. He does not merely create; He cherishes us, calling out to all people without exception. So how do we respond to this divine invitation? First, with gratitude. It is an incredible privilege to be called by God. Do we take time to thank Him in our prayers and worship? Just as we appreciate words of gratitude, surely God does too.
Second, we must actively engage with what God is doing in the world. Imagine being invited to a grand celebration and simply sitting in a corner, disengaged, scrolling on a phone. God desires more than passive attendance—He invites us to extend His love to others, drawing more into His embrace.
What does this look like in our lives today? Are we intentional about inclusion, ensuring that all feel welcomed and valued? Hospitality within the church is important, but God’s call goes beyond that—it urges us toward deeper, more meaningful outreach, embracing others in His love. With every blessing,
