Welcome to St Nicholas Church – Sunday 14th January 2024

Happy new year!
The new year begins with an announcement about changes to the responsibilities shared by the new clergy team. Rev Cate Allison has now left St.Nick’s to take on responsibility for both St.Paul’s and St.Chad’s. We were able to say a thank you to Cate in the service held on 7th January.
We now look forward to welcoming Rev Dr. K. Augustine Tanner-Ihm in an extended role as our interim parish priest. Augustine has been delivering services at St.Nick’s throughout the last 12 months, so he knows our services and congregation, it will be good to explore new ideas for growth with Augustine in the coming months.
Please note the changes to the clergy team responsibilities remain interim until the legal documentation to fully implement the new team has been received and approved by the senior clergy in the diocese and the 5 church PCCs.
Rev Dr Nick Bundock is the full team rector so we will continue to work under Nick’s guidance and leadership and we look forward to continuing to develop links with other members of the new team: St.Chad’s, St.Paul’s, St.James and Emmanuel.
