Welcome to the First Sunday after Trinity! As we step into this new liturgical season, I can’t help but reflect on the humorous yet profound wisdom of G.K. Chesterton: “Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly.” This resonates deeply as we navigate our faith journey post-Trinity Sunday, remembering to carry the joy and lightness of Christ’s love with us.
The great Christian mystic, Julian of Norwich, reassures us with the comforting words, “All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.” In this spirit, let’s embrace the opportunities for growth and reflection that this season offers. Join us as we explore what it means to live out our faith with joy, humility, and a touch of divine humour.
