Weddings

Getting married at St Nick’s is meaningful, spiritual, personal and beautiful – just as you would want it to be.
Our Grade II* listed church on Kingsway is a striking setting for your big day, and we’d love to help you plan a wedding that’s right for you.
Can We Marry at St Nick’s?
You can usually get married at St Nick’s if you live in our parish, or if you have a family or other connection with the church. Every couple’s situation is different, so the best thing to do is get in touch and we’ll talk it through with you.
The Church of England’s Your Church Wedding website is full of information and ideas, and answers all the big questions about getting married in church, including who can marry where.
Getting Started
Get in touch as early as you can, and tell us your good news and when you’d ideally like to get married. Popular dates can go quickly, and contacting us early gives plenty of time to sort out the legal requirements for marrying in church.
Your first conversation with us is about more than dates and practical details. It’s the start of a relationship with St Nick’s that we hope will support you not just on your wedding day, but well beyond it.
