Parishioner Bevan Taylor, a long-serving supporter of St Nick’s, spent years compiling a documentary archive of the life and times of our church. You can read his work in full below.

Published by the Parochial Church Council to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the church’s consecration on 24 September 1932. Around 350 pages in two volumes, it was originally produced as a limited printing of just 60 copies, and is dedicated to the memory of George Lamb (1930–2002), whose practical skill and knowledge served the parish throughout its building programme.

These volumes are scanned copies of the printed originals, so the files are large and may take a moment to open.
